What is Halo?

Halo is the world’s first and only tunable hybrid fractional laser—it focuses energy on the deeper collagen layer of skin leaving the surface largely in tact for a quicker healing time. Halo precisely targets years of skin damage, including: discoloration, sun damage, visible signs of aging, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, poor texture, rosacea, scarring, hyper-pigmentation, and age spots.

What it Treats?

Halo treats discoloration, fine lines, pores, sun damage, and wrinkles.

How does it work?

Using concentrated laser energy, the Halo Laser gently creates microscopic ‘holes’ in the surface of the skin. As the tissues heal, glowing, new skin appears. This mild injury to the skin encourages the body’s natural collagen production, continuing to improve the appearance over the months to come.

What are the side effects and risks?

Patients can expect the tissue to be red and slightly swollen after a Halo Laser treatment. It is also common for the skin to be tender for several days. A few days after the procedure, the skin may begin to look dry or flaky as the body sheds the old tissue and new, fresh skin is regenerated. Side effects may include itching (as the skin heals), discomfort similar to sunburn, hyperpigmentation (darkening) and hypopigmentation (lightening) of skin that usually resolves within two to six months. Most patients have no downtime. They can wear makeup the next day and go to work. They only need to use a moisturizer.

Results & Recovery Time

Halo improves the overall texture and tone of the skin by reducing discoloration, fine lines, pore size, and wrinkles. It may also increase the reflectivity of the skin creating a nice glow. The recovery time for a Halo treatment is normally about 4-6 days.

The Contour Tunable Resurfacing Laser is a fill-field skin resurfacing solution that is capable of numerous treatment options, from a shallow micro-laser peel up to a deep resurfacing.

What it Treats

Contour TRL can treat the face, neck, and other areas of the body for deep wrinkles, solar spots, scars, keratoses, as well as poor skin tone and texture.

Procedure Time

A one-time treatment lasting between 15-30 minutes is generally all that is needed; a local or topical anesthetic may be used.

Results & Recovery Time

ContourTRL removes the layer of skin being treated and allows a new top layer to grow that is smoother, softer, and more even in tone. Shallow treatments generally have 3-4 days recovery period, while deeper treatments will take longer.

Side Effects

Side effects are temporary but may include skin sensitivity, redness, and swelling. Sun exposure should be avoided after treatment.

ClearV is the newest laser in vascular treatment. It uses Subsurface Vein Illumination (SVI) to enhance visibility of subsurface and feeder veins to allow for a more thorough, effective, and longer-lasting procedure.

What it Treats

ClearV treats visible vessels, spider veins, broken capillaries, vascular lesions, rosacea, skin tags, warts and skin discoloration such as port wine stains.

Results & Recovery Time

ClearV is truly a remarkable treatment which allows the provider and patient to visibly observe the changes in the treated area as the treatment is being performed, i.e. watch the spider veins disappear before your eyes! Recovery time is minimal to almost non-existent for this procedure.

ClearSilk works by depositing heat energy deep within the dermis to cause the natural response to clear pigment, reduce vascularity, and the appearance of the tissue overall. It is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types.

What it Treats

ClearSilk has been shown effective for fine lines and wrinkles, pigmented lesions, the diffusion of redness, rosacea, improved luminosity, acne scars, skin revitalization, and clear toe.

NanoLaserPeel is a light treatment that removes the top most layer of the skin.

What is NanoLaserPeel?

NanoLaserPeel is a laser that offers fast, non-invasive skin rejuvenation.

How does it work?

The NanoLaserPeel uses cutting edge technology that improves skin texture, improves discoloration, and restores luminosity by precisely removing the very topmost layer of the skin as it accelerates the skin’s own renewal process. It offers a faster, more comfortable alternative to microdermabrasion and light chemical peels. The easy and comfortable treatment is safe and takes less than twenty minutes. Patients can resume normal activities the very next day.

What are the side effects and risks?

Immediately after the treatment, skin will have a “frosty” appearance. This is the dehydrated skin that will peel away over the next few days following the treatment. Some patients experience some skin redness and a sensation resembling sunburn, as well as mild swelling. Because only the outer layer of skin is treated, most patients notice an obvious improvement in tone, texture and color evenness once the skin heals in approximately 2-3 days.

Unlike traditional laser treatments, ProFractional laser treatments target narrow diameters of the skin causing a stimulation of the collagen deep within the tissues, and the healing time is significantly reduced by leaving the surrounding skin in tact.

What is Profractional Laser Resurfacing?

Profractional Laser Resurfacing addresses the texture and tone of skin along with fine lines, wrinkles, and various scars.

What it Treats

ProFractional laser treatment treats discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles, as well as scarring.

How does it work?

Profractional Laser Resurfacing uses a laser delivered into a scanning device which ablates micro laser channels at a predetermined depth into the skin. This action initiates the body’s wound healing response which stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, while leaving the surrounding tissue intact for rapid healing.

Results & Recovery Time

ProFractional laser treatments improve imperfections in the skin by reducing discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles, and scarring.

What are the side effects and risks?

Side effects and risks include: swelling, itching, discomfort (a sunburn feeling), post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation, infection, and allergic reaction.

MicroLaserPeel is a procedure that removes the outer layers of skin. The new healthier cells improve the clarity and texture of the skin.

What is a MicroLaserPeel?

The MicroLaserPeel is a superficial peel that addresses texture and tone of photo-aged or damaged skin.

What it Treats?

MicroLaserPeel is great for treating wrinkles, keratosis, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, scars, and sun damage.

How does it work?

The MicroLaserPeel procedure uses a 2940 nm Erbium YAG laser to precisely vaporize (ablate) predetermined layers of skin with the Contour Scanner. The wavelength of MLP is delivered through a scanning device that precisely removes layers of tissue by vaporizing (heating to high temperature) the water within tissue.

What are the side effects and risks?

Side effects can include swelling, itching, discomfort (especially a sunburn feeling), post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation, infection, allergic reaction.

Results & Recovery Time

Patients see a better glow to their skin after a MicroLaserPeel. The recovery time is between 1-7 days, depending on the depth of the MicroLaserPeel.
